Hill Fort Press aim to create short, snappy adventures that are easily placed into existing campaigns or played on their own. By our adventures' nature, lots is left up to interpretation, interrogation and interaction by the GMs who wish to run them. You may find certain aspects of Ouge Cove confusing, or unfinished. We've written the adventures this way to encourage you to make these stories your own. What is the reason for the human finger in the black cat's mouth? What are the significance of the brown-green mushrooms? You as the GM can decide to answer these questions to embellish this story in any way you choose. Perhaps they are red herrings, designed to throw your players off. Perhaps they are intrinsically linked to the mystery of Ouge Cove for a reason we have not realised.
